Tom Brady has been making big changes in his life recently. As he makes the move to play for a new football team, he has put his mansion in Massachusetts with supermodel wife Giselle Bundchen up for sale.
Now, the quarterback is ready to part with another item from his past: a custom Becker Cadillac Escalade ESV.
Hard Decision
The new Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback bought the vehicle in 2018 for $95,000. His custom additions made it way more expensive than that price though.
Becker Automotive Design, which Brady hired to modify his ride, reported that they made about $250,000 worth of changes on the Cadillac Escalade.
Now, the same car is on the market for $300,000 (or best offer). The listing for the Escalade also featured the football star sharing how parting with it won’t be easy for him.
This is because the vehicle was made out to be a sort of mobile office. That design decision enabled him to use his limited free time wisely by studying his playbook or spending time with his family.
The 42-year-old athlete also said that the Escalade helped keep stress down for him while increasing productivity at the same time.
Custom Ride
One of the many customizations Becker made on the car is increasing its height by five inches and its length by 20 inches as per the request of Brady, who stands at 6’4”.
Becker, whose celebrity clientele includes the likes of rapper Dr. Dre and the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, also added reclining VIP seats made of leather. The seats were outfitted with electric leg rests.
The Escalade has not one but two television aboard. One is a 32-inch HD LCD located at the front part while the other 12-inch one is installed in the back.
The Brady Collection
While he may be sad to say goodbye to a car he has called home while on the road, Brady won’t be lonely for too long given his other luxury rides.
His personal collection is reportedly made up of such high-end models as an Aston Martin DB 11, an Aston Martin Vantage, a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, and an Audi R8 to name a few.
And if you’re wondering why he has a couple of Aston Martins in his garage, it’s because Brady endorsed the iconic British brand and even had a model named after him: the Brady Signature Edition Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante.
